Female sexuality is still supressed because of holy books like the Bible. A woman is always someone's posession. Unmarried as her father's, married as her husbands.

This is a tough one because of the underlying truth. Female sexuality is the door to continued existence, and only one encounter can result in child, and women are physically weaker than men. That's quite a combo with modern technology and weakening of Christian norms
