I had to really think about this one. My empathy engine is mostly broken, so I generally don't feel it unless I'm observing physical harm or the protagonist feeling emotional pain is going through something I am currently going through. I had to imagine the former for each group.

The idea of status in this way is at once revolting to me, but also something I can't stop the back of my head from evaluating for every person I meet. I don't think collapsing all those ideas into a single axis does it justice, but there's also no easy consistent alternative.

I went with "low status men" only because there's such reactionary hoopla that paints them (us) as "victims." If low or high status women were in vogue, I'd have gone w/ those.

If it's a high status women they often have that status b/c of a hard working/connected/intelligent spouse. In addition they've benefited the most from affirmative action..in short they've done the least for their status.
