Does anybody have information with anxiety tied to digestive issues, particularly upper digestion relieved by belching? Sometimes I get strong anxiety and then I belch and it's fine and wtf is going on is there a term for this?

I am having to do research on the gut, nervous system, and anxiety (among other things). If I come across anything, I'll let you know. Try deep slow breathing with good thoughts aimed at your gut?

Perhaps on some level you think it is your heart, like the large number of people that confuse heartburn for something actually wrong with their heart.

Serotonin and the stomach are pretty closely tied, it wouldn't surprise me.. Anxiety can be induced by hyperventilating, so the idea of anxiety being induced by.. pressure on the stomach isn't a crazy idea to me. BUT I could be so wrong.
