I had a consultation for plastic surgery today! I think I carry a lil social shame from 'caring so much about my appearance.' I'm not sure I actually mind my appearance so much as it feels incredibly advantageous to be more attractive, particularly if I'm public-facing.

I was a photographer for years, it's pretty easy to spot. Unless we're talking about lightly shaving down the nose a touch or a slight tuck here or there, but once you touch the lips or cheeks, you have a big spot light letting everyone know what you've done.
