I had a consultation for plastic surgery today! I think I carry a lil social shame from 'caring so much about my appearance.' I'm not sure I actually mind my appearance so much as it feels incredibly advantageous to be more attractive, particularly if I'm public-facing.

If your profile images aren't overly photoshopped or whatever, then I don't think you need it. Do you really detect a "not wanting to look at your face" vibe from people you speak with? What if your bubble is full of shy guys like me who look away from women who are TOO pretty?

There’s no surgeon who could make you look better than you already do.

I grew up with an anti plastic surgery vibe. Now I do it as a job and being on the other side of the fence I see it as much less radical (bias?). I see less difference between 'natural' to tattoo/piercings than tattoo/piercings to plastic surgery. It's just refined carpentry.

Because there are too many examples of plastic surgery gone wrong.

It’s reveals an insecurity, which I never would of thought you had. You’re whole persona, IMO, is your freedom from the norms of society
