What norm, habit, type of person, or 'common' experience that you consciously agree exists, there's evidence that it does and other people say it does, but you've never actually seen it happen yourself? Bonus points if deep down your gut just doesn't believe it.

good fucking lord, you really seem to suffer from habitual contempt towards the systematically oppressed. How does it help you to come on here and deny their struggle? Just curious. You honestly think racism doesn't exist? For real? This edgelord bullshit is so goddamn exhausting
-
Do you actually think that I think racism doesn't exist? Do you actually think I feel contempt for the oppressed? Like, if you imagine being me, and empathizing with me, is that the world you think I inhabit?

Along these lines, walking down İstiklal street in Istanbul alone as a woman is Not Fun™, apparently. Every women I've asked confirms this but I'll never see it first-hand.

Do you think incarcerations and hiring rates are unaffected? Or would you relabel any discrepancies as culturism?
-
I'm not saying racism doesn't exist, I'm saying I personally haven't seen it (besides parents). My answer to incarcerations/hiring rates in general are 'it's complicated,' but if you asked "Are there any areas in the justice system or employment that's racist" I'd say definitely

This can't be true other than as a claim that you don't know racism when you see it.

Curious about what you mean by "racism" here, since there's also a sense in which most people are 'racist' all the time (by stereotyping, having assumptions based on perceived race, etc). Do you mean "racist" in the sense of willing harm toward members of a specific race? or such

Several years ago I received a quasi-revelation, or rather insight, that “there is no such thing as racism.” Now that must be understood as in some sense linguistic and cultural claim. The recent (several decades) obsession with “racism” is demonic.

I have a similar experience. I’ve also become very careful using the word racist/racism. Most often it’s not used to label a belief in the inferiority of certain races.
