That horse/zebra mashup is hilarious. Part of what's hilarious about it is that while it's usually depicted as half-striped, it looks like all we have are fossils, so this is literally just a popular headcanon, probably fictional. I still love that the closest extant relative of the saber toothed cat is the possum. Makes sense. They’re absolutely terrifying.
You, as a placental mammal, are more closely related to a saber toothed cat than any marsupial (such as a possum). There were animals sometimes called that that aren't, but they were extinct millions of years before humans got to the Americas, and aren't depicted here
