"movie" is one of my favorite words. It's so adorable. You can just hear the people in top hats and parasols going "let's go see a move-y" and then chuckling cleverly to themselves.

I also like “flick”. I imagine some cool slick fuck from the 10s throwing his arm around a lady asking in transatlantic affect if she wants to attend a flicker, because there’s this irascible dancing bear changing the world of performance & these new pep pills make it engrossing
