I feel like people are interpreting this tweet as saying people are doing something 'less bad' than racism. To be clear, viewing this through a 'culturist' lens doesn't seem any less bad to me.

but.. i don't think so? Like, if someone of a different race successfully 'passes' for the same culture, they often get treated very well (though probably have to do more steps to prove adherence to the culture).

what word? culturist? I haven't heard that word used before and am not very familiar with white supremacy arguments. If you're wondering if I'm a white supremacist, the answer is no, absolutely not. I definitely do not think white people are superior to other races

This is obviously true, obviously because it is seen cross-culturally (of asians, Africans, middle easterners, Europeans, south Americans, etc etc) not simply the Whites who the woke scolds scream at

I'm not so certain about this - many people are pretty straight up prejudiced against races because people are so easily categorized by race. In the US add on the histories of slavery, Jim Crow, Latino immigration, and Asian discrimination. It's not about culture it's about race.
