Wow, interesting... A slight *majority* feel anywhere from 'Slightly Less' to 'Significantly Less' empathy for unattractive people. Damn. I didn't expect numbers like that. Brutal.https://twitter.com/Aella_Girl/status/1183202631121920000 …
I did. I notice I have a significantly lower empathy response if someone's really unattractive. This makes me sad and I wish I could change it. This holds mostly for people who are really overweight, though, and a bit less for people who're normal weight and normal unattractive.

I have to say, I was just thinking of 'very unattractive', as in, 'ugly', but wasn't even considering weight. I answered 'Neutral' and even considered 'more empathy'... but when you add in extremes of obesity as a factor... Then that swings way over to significantly less empathy.

And, thinking about it, further... I'd be lying if I said I felt more bad about it... I wish I did, but I just.. don't. Empathy for extreme morbid obesity just seems to fly right out the window, for me. Like, genuinely really ugly people can't help it. They are fated to be ugly.
