I’ve always been in favor of decriminalization. I think sex work can be empowering for women. How could we differentiate between the “empowering” version of sex work and the uglier human trafficy version?

Are we having any trouble distinguishing? I don't think I've ever met anyone who had then confused, at least not including SWERFs who think women can't consent if pay is involved.

I wouldn’t trust government to have the resources/competence to make the distinction. Decriminalization of anything is scary when we observe the effect of opiate decriminalization in San Francisco.
