We often like to frame our ideas as subversive or 'hated by society' - but how do we tell? My favorite test is, "can your idea be used to sell a product?" If advertisers would use your concept or advertise alongside it, then your idea isn't subversive.

honestly ads are my favorite things. They're the best pulse of society, because they're incentivized by raw money. It's so cold, so honest. they show us everything the consumers want to see. a++
