Not even being provocative but if you think Greta Thunberg has the maturity to guide global policy-making then you cannot object to Jeffrey Epstein paying 16-year-olds for sex.

A sex crime doesn’t become NOT a sex crime because there are remarkable young people engaged in activism on a global scale. I don’t even know how you can begin to reconcile this vile comparison.

I think underage sex is so taboo that people instinctively put it in its own moral category: young people may be given responsibility for things except for providing consent.
-
A harder comparison for people may have been child actors. They seem to be at least in the ball park of exploitation. However, child sex work feels instinctively worse to people.

The crime part of the sex crime is the action of the legal adult in the situation. The person committing the crime knows it is illegal and is doing it anyway. FFS, that this even needs to be explained to a woman is disturbing.

Just because something is a crime doesn't mean it's bad, to be clear. I'm not saying it's *not* bad, but crime != bad. It used to be a crime for black people to live in the 'wrong' places, and is currently a crime for many people to smoke weed. Crimeness shouldn't be relevant.

I’m sorry but what’s the point and where is it..??

16 year old children are not old enough to be sex workers, not are they old enough to be the drive behind a policy.
