If severe accidents and illnesses continue happening as before, I would much rather not keep people alive to suffer until they are 80.
If at the same time euthanasia would become a viable, legal and socially accepted option, then yes.

Rationale for not pressing button? Disrupting any sense of evolution by allowing any human born to live well past reproduction age, where the only way to prevent unforseen catastrophic genetic degredation is overt murder. I'm an atheist but not godless!
