More than you wanted to know about my airline experience: I've been flying exclusively with this year, which has been pretty great, but there's regular 15-30 min delays after landing and before the gate. Do I just have a bad string of luck, and does this happen to you too?

To some extent it depends on the airport, how tightly they schedule the gates, and how quickly departing planes clear their gates. Some airports are huge and you taxi a long way to get to the gates. Others like SFO planes must wait to cross working runways.

Yes but a few times it seems to be errors. Once we got to out gate and had to wait 20 min for gate operator to arrive and move the ramp to the door. Often we're waiting for a plane to push back from the gate we're supposed to be at. This time a ground team was late.
That happens to me all the time, waiting for someone to move the jetway
