Women should be able to abort without men's permission. So, it is only fair that men should be able to relieve themselves of the obligation and right to the child unilaterally also.

It depends. Did the man & woman agree beforehand on their intentions in having sex? Did they agree to avoid conception? If so, then if the woman later changes her mind, it seems unreasonable to suddenly place new and theretofore novel expectations on the man.

I'd set the time window to be identical to whatever the time window is in that jurisdiction for legal abortions. That way his choice on support can still inform her choice about whether to abort or not.
