I'm totally down with being worried about climate change, but I notice I haven't actually talked to anybody who disagrees with "climate change is real and/or bad", and I'd like to - if you're a climate change nonbeliever, pls argue for your position in response to this tweet!

I'm interested in people who believe stuff like "The evidence that the climate is changing isn't actually that strong" or "there's no evidence that climate change is human caused" or "yeah there's climate change but it's not gonna do very much bad stuff to us"

I used to think it was a super big deal. Then I spoke to forecasting scientists who said the climate scientists were lousy at forecasting. 10+ years later IPCC’s own review found all the models had predicted more warming than occurred. Forecasting scientists know their stuff.

100% believe in climate change (climate’s been changing since there was a climate) and i think humans have absolutely had an impact...but how much of an impact and how dire this is immediately im not sure...Great Lakes were carved by ice glaciers and they melted away without

Ok I'll bite. The Medieval Warm Period existed from about 900-1300. Warmer than current temps. Warm enough for Vikings to ranch and farm on Greenland. I don't doubt mankind creates heat that can be warming the Earth. But the Earth also varies on its own.

All you’ll get is links to blogs, never links to any actual scientific papers. And then you’ll get blocked when you point that out so they can run away like @stevelolyouwish
