I'm totally down with being worried about climate change, but I notice I haven't actually talked to anybody who disagrees with "climate change is real and/or bad", and I'd like to - if you're a climate change nonbeliever, pls argue for your position in response to this tweet!

Climate change is real but not primarily human-caused: we have literally billions of years of information about hugely large climate changes than we see today before humans were around. Climate change is not particularly bad because it's slow and people are adaptable.

I haven't done a lot of research on this but will regurgitate what I've heard: People argue that there are huge, natural climate changes, but this particular climate change is extremely fast, and the speed is a good indication of being human caused.

It's kinda fast but only on a geological timescale. Humans are fully capable of moving cities or enormous amounts of people faster than sea levels can rise, among other things
