Before Sunrise, Before Sunset, Before Midnight: Best movie trilogy. Each filmed 9 years apart with the same actors following peeks into the different life stages of a relationship, I find which movie of the 3 I relate to most changes slowly throughout my life.

When I first watched the trilogy, Before Sunrise hit me like a punch, and the other two left me grasping and uncertain. Now, though, Before Sunset is starting to give me the greatest feelz, and Before Sunrise feels more like a memory. Not ready for Before Midnight's turn.

Before sunrise killed me. When sunset came out and they heavily implied Hawke and depley's characters were going to stay together I felt like I could finally breath again.

These movies are sacred to me. I think you have to have been in a relationship for quite some time before Before Midnight becomes a gut punch to you...imo.

Tbh, after reading the synopsis of Before Midnight, it feels like it's already making a statement that it shouldn't have been made in the first place 😂 (Full disclosure: I haven't seen the first two. Might give 'em a shot next week)
