I personally don't 'get' what women mean when they talk about experiencing sexism and harassment and lack of safety - I don't relate to it or experience it very much, and I know some other women who agree. It's weird the disparity here, that some women report so much trouble...

Yes, definitely. I don't know how much this happens though. If I'm not processing something as harassment then it doesn't register as a data point.

We could decrease harassment by letting the prey escape the situation, and decreasing the stresses that cause the bully to seek easy prey and persist I keep finding ways in which a basic income would make most of our social problems disappear completely or become more manageable

No, just that it would help fix most other problems when they exist. The lack of struggle could decrease empathy, but the stability and life balance from UBI making everyone less stressed would help keep their worst impulses in check, and fix and prevent the underlying problems.
