I personally don't 'get' what women mean when they talk about experiencing sexism and harassment and lack of safety - I don't relate to it or experience it very much, and I know some other women who agree. It's weird the disparity here, that some women report so much trouble...

That now functions as a signal to men that they'll get less a reaction from me. For example, I generally like being catcalled, and get catcalled less than most women I know.

I think im actually fearless, tho that isn't always a good thing. There's been one occasion where I ended up in serious physical danger because I assumed too much safety.

Is it that or the aspergery stuff you cop to? Like, you simply don’t have the controls to be played like that? Apologies if this comes off wrong, just trying to mind meld with you.

I feel like I'm somewhere in the middle. I've been harassed and assaulted since I was a kid; on the other hand, I'm not particularly fearful of walking home alone at night (not much more than I am during the day, rather).

I think most interactions are perceived as “harassment” by women in general compared to men’s perceptions. That’s quantifiable from an evolutionary perspective, given women’s innate value in the sexual selection “game.” Most men perceive cat calling as novel and desirable.
