I feel that there might be a bit of a bias that (straight/white) people vote for ugly and dumb bc it's more 'relatable' than the others.

Iirc IQ is more strongly predictive of outcome (success in life measured by stuff like earning potential and not going to jail) than race is, tho it's been a while since I looked into this

I have the politically incorrect idea that a lot of what is attributed to racial discrimination is actually attributable to looks discrimination, because different racial groups are not considered equally attractive (I myself am in one of the groups considered less attractive)
