it's really a shame. i met my spouse through match dot com back in the old days of 2000. that was probably the best time in the history of the universe to meet someone based on the words you presented yourself with. 1/2

Isn't the reason you're doing it in the first place sheer boredom? You're creating a self fulfilling prophecy. You swipe because you're bored, and swiping bores you.

Tinder was really great in Moscow. I could have had a new date literally every day if I’d had the time and energy, and that’s as a mid 50s guy. It absolutely sucks everywhere else I’ve tried it, including the SF Bay Area.
