Say more? I like it rarely. If I feel safe and the compliment resonates with how I'm trying to present, it can be alright. Generally I find it annoying / distracting / threatening.

Catcalls almost never make me feel unsafe, probably because they happen when other people are around, and I'm not worried about getting attacked around other people. I usually get catcalled more the more attractive I'm trying to be, so I view it as a sign I did it well.

I hate it. I had a guy follow me for blocks and blocks one time when I was alone, and it really freaked me out — nothing happened in the end but I'll never forget it — and I think of that every time I get catcalled

Yeah I definitely feel very differently when alone, I also had a guy stalk me through deserted streets and then start chasing me when I started running. Other people around is super important for me to feel safe.
