As you might know, I've been super experimental with hygiene over the past few years. I've learned a lot!
Hair: I stopped washing it nearly 4 years ago, and tried a lot of different alternatives - baking soda, olive oil, eggs, rye flour, hot water. By this point my solution is:

rinsing my hair once every 1-4 weeks, and putting rye flour into the roots every 2-3 weeks. The rye flour soaks up the grease, and gets pulled out when brushing or when rinsing.
I didn't use shampoo for over a year at a time, but nowadays use a small amount every ~2 months.

Thanks for sharing! I did no-shampoo + hot water for a while, but found my hair regularly a bit too greasy for my liking, so I’m intrigued by the difference your rye flour method could make.
