Good question. If it's an index of purchasing power then I suppose it's good to have more. However if it's just a rule where you have to give Bezos more money to have kids it's time for revolution.

I don't see a reason to have either policy. Maybe can make a broader policy that people who generally have a lighter footprint in resource usage deserve some merits, but tightly constrained around Amazon? Makes no sense.

I said “more” simply because people could afford raising kids better if they’re already able to buy more stuff on Amazon. The other way around might not be the same.
