There was a failed social media attempt to boycott Amazon on Prime Day by urging streamers not to use Twitch. Ridiculous, considering it's their livelihood. Regarding Amazon: the hours are long but the pay is good. If you don't like it don't work there. There's jobs elsewhere.

Thank you! That's exactly what I'm saying.

Yep! And perception of job difficulty is so relative. People have been working jobs everywhere on the comfort spectrum for thousands of years - most lines drawn about what is 'too shit a job' is so arbitrary and might be laughable in different cultures.

Nobody is saying that amazon workers don’t have the right to strike or attempt to collectively bargain. We are arguing that’s it’s wrong to guilt other into supporting it especially when their livelihoods May depend on it

I worked FOR AMAZON. The pay was insufficient. I still required food stamps and i DIDNT have student loans to repay. I almost got fired for being at work with a stomach bug, as i needed to use the restroom every few hours. (And didnt have time off due to needing podiatry surgery)
