Some are more like Nazis than you’d think and some are less like Nazis than you’d think. Tbh I think Nazi comparisons are dumb and lazy. Dozens of civilizations were just as evil and brutal as they were. Human history has always been this bad. Technology is the only difference.

I find it somewhat odd that the actual medical advances that were gained are never mentioned. There is no question it was a horror but it's hard to imagine where humanity would be today without dr death and all of his insanity.

Well...Nazis *are* people.
I'm pretty pessimistic about humans. I don't have "faith in humanity restored!" moments when I interact with a good person or see a story meant to be uplifting. Really, it just brings into relief how terrible most others are.
