Do you ever have concepts 'fade out'? The concept of 'soul' used to be one I used a lot, and now it's kinda dissolved - it's just not an object that shows up a lot in my processing. Similarly, 'love' has faded out for me, replaced by something like 'looking' or 'self-dissolution'

Love seems to boil down to a few things - it can be a warm feeling in my body and a movement towards the person. It can be an 'extension of self' - such that their success triggers the same feeling of my own success. It can be 'sight of awe', when they function as a divine mirror

There's a way in which I stopped using the word 'soul', and also a way in which it stopped being 'functional' in my mind - like, when exploring curiosity, the 'soul' function stopped operating; it didn't come up when I wondered about the 'nature of people,' for example.

"Soul" seems to resolve into "self" and "memories of others" or "memories left behind IN others" How we model the mind of another being depends on our own empathy, imagination, and mutual communication skills.

I think concepts fade out as our brain seeks more and more accuracy in our characterizations of the universe. Soul and love are both meaningful, but inaccurate.

It looks like the fading out of those concepts are related to your deeper understanding of the underlying phenomena.

I might say happiness, in the TV show "happily ever after" or "happy life" because every life has some amount of difficulty. Also any concept of "the one" as in a single person who is the right one for you.

Opposite for me, when I was younger (I’m still young dammit!), I didn’t think much about ‘soul’ or having one.
Probably after I started a family, this concept of ‘soul’ has become much more prominent in my psyche, to the point where I consider its meaning everyday.
