It's not really informed consent if they don't tell you about it, is it? I mean, even if you've got a bad cold, people generally agree that the decent thing to do is to let you know about it before you make out with them.

I meant like, before you have sex, htey tell you "wait, before we bone I need to let you know I have genital herpes so you can make informed consent about sleeping with me." That's how I intended the original question.
