I haven't read the article, but the idea of "wrong people" seems like a wrong idea to me.

Honestly this could apply to modern day political causes. Specifically intersectionality & critical race theory. The overwhelming emphasis on sympathy towards certain groups whilst demeaning others has definitely led to some “sins” in the modern day.

In the past we had religious, but now we have regulations. Both are based common moral principles.
