Kinda but also kinda not? I'm pointing out how they are similar - both radical progressive ideology and calvinism teaches that your basic nature is that of 'failure to meet the standard for holiness', which leads nicely into providing a 'solution' for your failures.

calvinists would argue that this is you applying your flawed human morality. Lots of verses say we're fundamentally depraved, there is "none good, no not one" - who are you to judge God? If God creates someone to damn them and you think that's 'bad' or 'unfair' then who's wrong?
