One conspiracy theory I enjoy is that feminism is a method where women shame men for pursuit/overly masculine behaviors, with the goal of weeding out the men too weak to disobey the women. All the guys who ignore the rules, get laid.

ok hold up I do think shittests are a legitimate thing. I didn't think that I did shittests but after learning about them I realized I'd subconsciously been doing them to interested men *all the time.*
Seems to me the concept of shittesting can be generalized and seen to occur in wider contexts: women doing it to men, employers do it to employees, etc. I’m kinda curious whether you’ve looked for or noticed interested men doing shit tests to you (or other women).

I meant to say men doing it to women, which I think also happens.
Women should be made aware that they unconsciously do this. If you do it to a guy and you haven't proven your worth to him yet, poof, you're gone.

I think everyone does that when we feel insecure. We sometimes show our worst qualities so the inevitable rejection doesn't hurt so much, just like other times we procrastinate or do a lousy effort so failure doesn't hurt so much.
