I also sent my adult self a message a little like that as a child, and I know a few other people who did too. Maybe worth a poll...

As one does. I don't think I've posted anything in months, and I have like 15 drafts with various levels and kinds of mold growing on them. Damned good posts, too. But I'm a mixture of too damned busy and too damned lazy to clean them up, reorganize, and edit them.

What I find most fascinating about dreams is the way they transition, kinda like a transition of focus. Like, something comes into focus, and it stays fixed, but everything else around it can change with no care for logic whatsoever. At least, that's typically my experience.

Your recent blog reminds me of The Inception.

This blog post made me cry, but I'm not sure why. I guess there could be several reasons, if I needed to attach a reason to it, but maybe I just needed to cry- and something in your writing made me feel like that would be ok

OK- read the blog again trying to figure out why I cried- didn't cry this time- but it brought up both childhood and lucid dream memory impressions- some associated with stinging loss and trauma. Hence the emotionalism. Cont'd
