Ultimately, this is about women’s power. When women are in control of their sexuality, it threatens a core element underpinning right-wing ideology: patriarchy. It’s a brutal form of oppression to seize control of the 1 essential thing a person should command: their own body.

I was a fundamentalist Christian who protested planned Parenthood. Now I'm the opposite - I've spent years in sex work and am a spiritual atheist who is very pro abortion. And, having been immersed in both sides, I can tell you your explanation for this doesn't feel correct.

Right, while I ultimately disagree with your interpretation of the facts, I also believe you genuinely believe you are saving the lives of babies, and I don't like when other pro-choice people mischaracterize you.
