One of the strongest pieces of evidence that our culture sucks at thinking or empathy is the abortion debate. Pro-choicers constantly characterize pro-lifers as "not actually caring about babies, but just want to control the bodies of women" which is one of the stupidest things

If it was my baby, I'd be pretty pissed. But since its their baby, and lots of people in my culture seem to be doing it, I'd look into the reasons and advocate for mitigating those reasons. I'd look into how the definition of baby differs and give some space to the tighter def.

You're still kind of not fully imagining believing that babies are being killed. People who think babies are being killed don't wonder if the definition of baby is right. Imagine being *convinced* that actual legitimate baby slaughter was happening.

Lemme preface my big “if” that I live in the country of Polandia, where pro-lifers are numerous and I live alongside them. I can’t afford them all the good faith of *sincerely believing they’re protecting anyone*, because they’re showing plenty of genuine malice and disregard.

I'd like to play this out. I'll roleplay and ask you questions about this world, if you'll play along. So when you say "you", do you mean me as if transported as I currently am, middle-aged, typing on my phone here in bed? What are the given reasons for killing healthy babies?
