I use 'prosocial' all the time in my internal vocabulary but don't hear other people using that word very much. 'Prosocial' is the internal spectrum I have for how ok you are as a person. It fits way better than other words cause it feels inclusive of weirder mind states.

I always though 'prosocial' conflated altruism and extraversion in a way that makes introverts feel unfairly antisocial.

I’m a big fan of the word ‘prosocial’, but you have a good point. What would you use as a substitute?

One might just use the word, 'social.' Isn't that enough? There is social and anti-social. "Pro" is included in the term.

Social has connotations of being extroverted though, right? For me 'prosocial' doesn't have any extroverted connotations - I interpret it as 'tending to engage in behavior that is aligned with group interests'
