Skkeeeeeeup, now wait just a dang second. I find that steps 1 and 2 (perhaps with 1 being from an alt.....) happen much more often than 3. It's much more likely for negative stereotypes to just be straight up ignored -- not stated as non-existent or "not bad" but just IGNORED.
