Would you support the genetic engineering of farm animals to eliminate their capacity to experience suffering?

The inverse of suffering is joy. Lambs that frolic, cows that sway in rhythm to Debussy, fish that commune with kelpies and gaze for eternity into pax pelagic.
I want my meat to have been healthy and content, not vegetables. I have vegetables for that.

I would not support that because we are not removing the root cause of this problem. No matter what, the animal should not be exposed to any form of suffering.
