Apparently they have a policy, which at no point did they make me aware of, that if you miss the first leg of the flight (which I did because of a family emergency), they just cancel your return ticket. Doesn't seen like
Also to be clear, it wasn't two legs on a single flight - I had a sfo-nyc flight I missed, and it was my nyc-sfo ticket a week later that was cancelled.
Amtrak train does this too! Happened to me a few weeks ago. However, I didn't have to buy a new ticket, just spend 30 minutes on the phone with customer service while on the train to get it reactivated...
