I have this core belief that if you just are compassionate and genuine enough, you can have a vulnerable conversation with anybody. I think this is why conversations with SJWs are so upsetting to me; they really threaten that core belief and it makes me feel unstable. Send hugs?

God I just had a FB exchange and now my heart rate is up and I feel really sad. I like to think I could handle a potential dump of internet hate but honestly idk if one convo is all it took to make me so upset.

I was saying I was uncomfortable expressing myself in a group that recently got new more SJW leadership (I'd previously argued that intent should be a factor in whether something is racist and they muted me). They then said of course I should be uncomfortable cause I'm a racist.

I have now a new found respect for dueling. If they can't stand on the topic and start trying to ruin your reputation and your social relations you might as well duel. How is dueling less rational? They can't bullshit without taking a risk. Stay on topic or risk getting hurt.
