I have this core belief that if you just are compassionate and genuine enough, you can have a vulnerable conversation with anybody. I think this is why conversations with SJWs are so upsetting to me; they really threaten that core belief and it makes me feel unstable. Send hugs?

God I just had a FB exchange and now my heart rate is up and I feel really sad. I like to think I could handle a potential dump of internet hate but honestly idk if one convo is all it took to make me so upset.

The reply they just sent in response to my attempt at vulnerable circlingly stuff was "have a cry, then listen and absorb". Gah why are people like this? They must be so brittle.

My approach is that some people are playing the collaboration game and some the conquest game, so our first job in conversation is to discern which and plan or armour ourselves accordingly. The clean distinction makes it easier, by fully banishing positive expectations.

I've found that most people who show little compassion are either damaged themselves and haven't dealt with it properly, or they are narcissistic/sociopathic. Hugs.

The SJWs took the strictures of religious absolutism; but, striped the divine, the forgiveness, and the redemptive ability from their mindset. They key in the slur is the W. They are fighting, they are at war, they "know what must be". THey have strong conviction.
