I'm not sure I'll ever understand when people bring gender activism into psychedelics. Isn't the spiritual journey about leaving your labels behind, not dragging them in with you?

On a profoundly deep level, gender feels like an illusion or mask, much like every other one of my character description traits. When people say "as a woman" or "as a gender fluid person" in regards to psychedelics I just do noooot get it.

I mean, aren't psychedelics also about identity and the self, and seeing yourself in a different way? Psychedelic experiences are also super personal, so being clear about who you are and where you're coming from can be essential to explaining or talking about that experience.

Neither do they. Nothing is more ego shattering than psychedelics.

In my experience, soul or inner luminous realm body, has no gender, but there are “currents” if you will, that feed into our human suits. Our suits, have a sex. Depending on how many layers you are removing, the experience of gender is more or less present.
