How would you react? I want to run a workshop at a burn for the celebration of masculinity, where we start by listing positive feminine traits (to get a general feel for it), and then list all the positive masculine traits we can think of. Have you ever done this at a (cont)

burn or workshop before? If you found yourself in this situation, would this feel like a normal/easy thing for you, or a weird/challenging thing? Basically I don't know how people are gonna react to "listing positive masculine traits". It might or might not be a big deal.

I tend to frame it as "what are positive traits of people that are commonly associated with masculinity". That tends to allow folks to voice those associations without committing to the idea that those traits aren't inherently masculine (its that second bit that is threatening)

I think this is why I would start with having people list feminine traits - to be ok with associating traits with a gender - before transitioning to doing it for masculinity

It will probably involve a lot of listings for traits of questionable status that are seen as 100% positive by people of very different values than yours

I would be able to do it, but I'm a bit weird. It's not easy though as some traits are sort of double edge sword type stuff. EG: someone might say courage/bravery ... which some people will immediately think of as men doing dangerous/risky things.
