it happens every year or so no matter who’s president, it’s political theatre, I dunno why everyone gets so worked up about it. And it’s a misnomer; the government is not shut down

Would rather we took the Texas model ( small legislative window ) and far less things "funded" by the "Fed Gov" ( debt never to be paid back ); but, I also am a "right wing nut job" [who is closer to the center than anyone wants to acknowledge]
