I can be down with troubles for men being caused by Toxic Masculinity (tm) but only if we've got some equal and parallel concept set for women.

Yes, there is female virtue and male virtue. And there is female vice in male vice.

I understand a parallel concept, but why must it be equal? Why do you think toxic femininity must necessarily cause as much damage to women as toxic masculinity does to men?

I'm not sure there is the same death toll from the female equivalent to Toxic Maculinity.

Is there a term for the type of woman that won't leave her Toxically Masculine husband even though he is physically and/or emotionally abusive? I feel like that would be the equivalent parallel concept here.

The parallel concept is feminity. As for the toxic part, it's in the dose.

As the article states, a similar guide has already been set up for women and girls in 2007, so I'm guessing this is the equal and parallel concept for men. apa.org/practice/guide
