Not sure why you chose to use the word "previously". It implies that it happened in the past but isn't happening now.

The problem is they push it on the back end. Affirmative action should be pushed up-stream as far as possible.

I may be one of those who could benefit from affirmative action policy as I've a moderate disability but I'm not sure. That said while I believe everyone should have equal opportunity to the same education and jobs, and support policies to that end. I think quotas miss the mark.

Who they are should have nothing to do with getting a job! Their skills work ethic and experience should be the only factors
