For all the increased awareness around consent nowadays, I'm a little surprised there hasn't been bleedover into libertarianesque stuff, considering the prime value of that stuff is basically 'violating my consent is bad'
Interpersonal sexual relations don’t have: negative environmental externalities, political power, monopolies/oligopolies. The economy is much more complicated and needs to be regulated more.
In some ways this might be true, but I suspect a pretty good part of current economical problems come from well-intentioned (or money-incentivized) regulations that accomplish one specific good but create a lot of other compounding ripple effects.
