For all the increased awareness around consent nowadays, I'm a little surprised there hasn't been bleedover into libertarianesque stuff, considering the prime value of that stuff is basically 'violating my consent is bad'

Probably because most libertarians care more about THEIR consent being violated specifically, rather than people's consent being violated generally... For most people it's rooted in selfishness more than ideology.

Is it selfishness? Or, is it respecting boundaries? As in respecting the boundaries of others as they would have others respect their boundaries. Thank about it. In my observations it is primarily the latter. With that said, people are inherently selfish. SJW‘s included.

No, my point is that most people who describe themselves as libertarians are only invested in having their own boundaries respected - respecting other peoples' boundaries is a secondary, if existent, consideration. Which makes it selfishness in my book.

If you’re talking about selfishness, I consider how they live their lives as a whole rather than applying labels and stereotypes. From that perspective they’re no more selfish than anyone else. Obviously, our perspectives differ.

If you’re talking about the consent phenomenon, it’s unlikely that you will see an obvious effect. Applying the consent phenomenon to libertarians is attempting to align leftist Identity politics with a group who doesn’t subscribe to leftist identity politics. It doesn’t fit.
