I only say with regulations because I don’t want people forcing kids out there. But adults who want to do it as a job, totally up to them. Just be safe.

That’s true. What I meant was that it should be done in places dedicated to it. Not in a brothel so much, but just like any job where you go to a location for it. Somewhere away from schools, and with people that maybe have a license or something. That way minors aren’t doing it.

One could argue that having it regulated wouldn’t stop exploitation of minors. But I guess you could argue that about any law. Also: totally don’t count all SW as prostitution. I think cam SW is fine the way it is for example.

I heard one prostitute who's been doing it for 14 years say that the brothel system is terrible because it gives all the power to brothel runners (who take a % of the girls' pay) and mostly benefits already-privileged workers, because they're the ones that get 'hired.'

Didn’t even think about that. Do you think it’s safer for people to work alone? I mean, more money. But danger maybe? What if there was a way to make it where a brothel owner couldn’t take more than like 5% of earnings or something? I have no idea. But safety seems needed?

Some girls might choose to work in a brothel, but being *forced* to means they have to even if they feel it's safe and more profitable to be on their own. Girls develop their own safety mechanisms - the girls I know who do it feel very safe without brothels.
